The Country

There are an estimated 1500 types of trees, 6000 flowering plants, close to 10% of the world’s butterfly species and 850 species of birds. The land itself is a wonder with colossal volcanoes towering above rainforest mountains. Waterfalls tumble down cliffs and raging rivers can flow for only a few hundred miles before hitting either Caribbean Sea or Pacific Ocean.
